As the digital transformation is proceeding at full speed all round the globe, we believe that digital education is increasingly becoming a prerequisite for a successful working life and is also a requirement for our self-determination and general evaluation capabilities. According to the German Digital Strategy 2025, in the ICT sector alone, there are currently 40,000 open positions. The White Paper on Digital Platforms of the Economic Affairs Ministry of Germany claims, that digitalisation will open up potential additional cumulative added value of 425 billion euros in Germany. In response to these upcoming realities new qualifications and combinations of qualifications and, correspondingly, new training content are necessary for successful transition. Therefore, CGE Erfurt e.V. believes that it is crucial to train not only our staff, but also educators, trainers and facilitators closely working with us, offering possibility to gain profound ICT competences and knowledge in basic robotics, so that they can work, likewise, about these issues with adults.

To reach the aims of the project, we created four activities:

[ap_tab title=”Job Shadowing #1″]Job Shadowing is going to take place from the 26th of August till the 9th of September, in Cyprus.

This activity is aimed at bringing team members of CGE Erfurt to visit Emphasys Center for two weeks and learn from their experiences. They have at least 5 to 7 years of management experience, with skills and competences to manage and lead projects and teams. Participants will learn the best practices of developing, establishing and managing Teaching Courses on Administrative level.

[ap_tab title=”Training Course #1″]Training Course is going to take place from the 5th till the 11th of November, in Nicosia, Cyprus.

This activity is directed towards our team members, who are involved in teaching and trainings on ICT and Robotics. Participants will learn about Coding and Robotics.

This activity is aimed at bringing team members of CGE Erfurt to visit Emphasys Center for two weeks and learn from their experiences. They have at least 5 to 7 years of management experience, with skills and competences to manage and lead projects and teams. Participants will learn how they develop new courses, develop curricula for trainings and how to evaluate quality of teaching. They will practice teaching methods and help CGE build high quality ICT teaching Center in Thuringia.

This activity is directed towards our team members, who are involved in teaching and trainings on ICT and Robotics. Participants will learn about ICT technologies and new tools and teaching methods.

Impact

This project aims at improving team knowledge about Information and Communication Technologies, educational tools and the Erasmus+ Programme, thereby, increasing their capacity to design and implement future projects, getting new knowledge, attitudes, competences about ICT, acquiring new training methods and best practices to use in daily work, broaden the working perspective of participants, widening their understanding about other cultures and developing unknown tools for conflict solving, intercultural communication, regaining the motivation and a fresh perspective with which approaching their job and their learners, as they will experience the role of being learners again and improving their team work capacity.

Methodology
The main working method was non-formal education in connection with a lot of community activities and group building. The main activities will be debates, group activities, games and workshops.
