The publication Civic Education in Vocational Education and Training: The Case Studies of Croatia, Romania, and Thuringia explores the role of civic education in vocational schools and highlights the different ways it is implemented across the three regions. Die Publikation Civic Education in Vocational Education and Training: The Case Studies of Croatia, Romania, and Thuringia untersucht die Rolle politischer Bildung in Berufsschulen und zeigt auf, wie unterschiedlich sie in den drei Ländern umgesetzt wird. Im Fokus stehen die Erfahrungen von Schülerinnen, Lehrkräften, Jugendarbeitenden und Expertinnen, die in Interviews, Fokusgruppen und Umfragen ihre Perspektiven geteilt haben. Die Studie macht deutlich: Während Berufsschulen junge Menschen vor allem auf den Arbeitsmarkt vorbereiten, wird politische Bildung oft marginalisiert – obwohl gerade sie entscheidend ist, um demokratische Werte, kritisches Denken und aktive Bürgerschaft zu fördern.
