This Tuesday, Culture Goes Europe took part in Kulturmeile at Zughafen Kulturbahnhof in Erfurt, bringing a vibrant mix of learning, engagement, and cultural exchange for new university students exploring local initiatives. As part of this city-wide cultural celebration, we hosted a scenario-based quiz on European institutions and opportunities, giving students a fun, hands-on way to test their EU knowledge. Mini prizes added excitement, sparking laughter, friendly competition, and lively conversations throughout the evening.
Kulturmeile also provided a platform for networking and exchange with other organizations present in the city. Sharing ideas and experiences enriched both visitors and participants, highlighting the collaborative spirit that drives youth and cultural initiatives across Europe. By combining interactive learning, cultural exposure, and networking opportunities, our team showed how education, culture, and youth empowerment intersect to create meaningful engagement. Students left inspired, informed, and motivated to explore both local projects and broader European opportunities, experiencing firsthand how culture and civic participation can go hand in hand. The event also showcased our two flagship projects. EU4Youth2Act, tied to the upcoming Europe Week 2025, encouraged youth engagement, European citizenship, and civic participation, helping students discover how they can actively shape Europe’s future. Meanwhile, Soft Skills for Democracy focused on developing critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills, equipping young people with practical tools to participate meaningfully in democratic life.
