Plus Session of the Business Matchmaking Program – Social Impulse Academy: First Customer Erfurt // TASK4ISI

On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, the Social Impulse Hub hosted an additional session for the Business Matchmaking Programme (TASK4ISI). Held online, the event focused on revisiting the key principles for launching an entrepreneurial idea while also providing participants with the opportunity to clarify pending questions and further develop their business concepts. The session was facilitated by Norhan Othman and Osman Sajid, members of StartUp Migrants.

During this concise but insightful session, participants explored several essential principles for developing a successful business idea. The hosts emphasized the importance of adopting a long-term perspective by prioritizing customer retention, which can be supported through clear and straightforward pitches. They also highlighted the need for entrepreneurs to clearly identify their target audience and to recognize that gaps in products or services can often be identified through feedback from early adopters.

In addition, the session underlined that product features evolve through user experience and interaction, making the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) a valuable learning tool. Building visibility, maintaining a consistent presence, and staying connected with potential customers were identified as key factors in establishing trust and promoting a business idea, particularly through personal and human interaction. Furthermore, adapting to the cultural and social environment in which a business operates was presented as a crucial factor for success, as understanding cultural nuances can significantly support the development and growth of an entrepreneurial initiative. While these aspects are particularly important during the early stages of a business, the session also stressed the importance of carefully mapping out strategies, documenting processes, and actively listening to feedback as essential foundations for entrepreneurial growth.

The online event concluded with a one-to-one support session, offering participants tailored guidance for the development of their business ideas.

The project has been co-funded under the Interreg Central Europe program of the European Union through the project “TASK4ISI” – Transnational Action to advance Skills and competences FOR Inclusive entrepreneurship and Social Innovation.
