Participatory Performative Arts (PPA) brought together youth workers, migrant‑led organisations, and young people to explore how theatre and co‑creation can strengthen civic participation in migration, rural, and queer contexts. Through international trainings, a youth exchange, and local creative programmes across six partner regions, the project has focused on building practical skills, confidence, and inclusive spaces where young people can express their stories and engage actively in their communities.
As the project comes to a close, we have gathered the methods, exercises, and insights developed throughout this journey into a practical, accessible toolkit for youth workers. It reflects everything we learned together and offers ready‑to‑use approaches for participatory arts work in diverse contexts. We hope the PPA Toolkit continues to inspire creative civic engagement beyond the project timeline.
