As part of an international project DC4JOBS (Digital Competences for Jobs), we organised a one-day Conference: “Digital Youth Work 3.0. Competences for the Labor market of Tomorrow.”
As part of the project “Culture Goes Digital”, three participants from CGE Erfurt e.V. has visited the Emphasys Center (Nicosia, Cyprus) for two weeks in July 2019 and learned from their experience in managing an ICT center and courses for adult educators.
On May 9th-10th, 2019 the Kick-Off Meeting of the D(at)YW project took place in “SozialSalon” in Erfurt, Germany.
Last week, from March 4th to 9th, six people who represent diverse backgrounds and are members of CGE Erfurt e.V. got an opportunity to visit Emphasys Centre and learn about Internet Security. Do you want to know more about their experience?

The Short-term Joint Staff Training of the “DC4JOBS” project was successfully organised in Nicosia, Cyprus between the 17th and the 21st of December 2018. The third meeting of the DC4JOBS project was organised on the 3rd and 4th of October 2018 in Breda, Netherlands. We were hosted by our project partner The Breakthrough Foundation with collaboration from Villa Boerebont and De Moerbei.
CGE Erfurt e.V. believes that in the current digital era it is crucial to train its staff. With this regard a job-shadowing activity at the Emphasys Center (Nicosia, Cyprus) was developed, offering possibility to gain profound competences and knowledge in managing an ICT center and courses for adult educators.
As the digital transformation is proceeding at full speed all round the globe, we believe that digital education is increasingly becoming a prerequisite for a successful working life and is also a requirement for our self-determination and general evaluation capabilities.
