Hallöchen dear friends,
if you have a gluten intolerant friend, but you still want to make them a nice sweet gluten-free dessert, we have a good solution for you:
Gluten-free whipped cream roll
Ingredients:
• 5 eggs
• 100g of sugar
• 2 table-spoons of cacao
• ½ vanilla sugar
• 1 whipped cream
Also needed:
• aluminium foil
• butter, margarine or other form of fat
First of all break all five eggs and separate the egg yolk and egg white. Whip the egg whites into fluffy egg snow. Then slowly add egg yolks (one by one), sugar and cacao. And that’s our dough.
Pre-heat the oven to 250 °C. Put on the baking tray the aluminium foil and use the butter, margarine or other form of fat to grease it. Grease it thoroughly, so that the dough doesn’t stick to the foil. Pour the dough onto the aluminium foil and put it into the pre-heated oven. Let it bake for only 5 minutes!
Take the tray out of the oven and sprinkle the half of the packing of the vanilla sugar onto the warm dough and let it cool down.
Meanwhile you can use the mixer to whip the cream. Then you can pour it onto the already cooled dough.
Now comes the tricky part, when you have to roll the dough. Only now you will realise how good you greased your foil. After that is out of the way put it in the fridge for a few hours and it’s ready to be served.
Guten Appetit!
