This project is a collaboration between 5 organisations, with the aim to each produce youth group-based podcasts, focused on the problems experienced by youth in and around Europe. We will be creating monthly podcast episodes, which will be hosted together. The topics will be chosen by you, the participants!
The web radio represents an easy tool to know and use so that all young people, without any discrimination, can participate.
We at CGE Erfurt e.V. are looking for at least 5 participants, who are interested in designing a podcast from the ground up, and attending workshops and training sessions to improve media, editing and podcasting skills.
The podcast episodes will be created once a month, starting September 2020, for 12 months, finishing September 2021. Online Training Courses and Youth Exchanges will be held at the start and throughout the project, to support your vision of the podcast.
The aim of this project is to engage young people in two main ways:
- Building transnational bridges that allow for educational exchange – your fellow participants will be living in Iceland, Italy, Spain and The Netherlands;
- To encourage the development of skills linked to social entrepreneurship among young people, as well as the acquisition of skills that facilitate their insertion in the European labour market.
We shall be providing the equipment necessary to create and record the podcast, but you and your fellow participants will be making the design choices!
As a participant, we are looking for people who:
- Are aged 18 – 24
- Currently reside in Germany
- Speak English or German
