The Short-term Joint Staff Training of the “DC4JOBS” project was successfully organised in Nicosia, Cyprus between the 17th and the 21st of December 2018.
The consortium is currently working towards developing a comprehensive in-service training programme to young people with fewer opportunities who would like to upgrade their digital competences.
The programme consists of 6 modules:
- Information & Data Literacy
- Communication & Collaboration
- Digital Content Creation
- Problem Solving
- Soft Skills
During the meeting, the trainers from each partner organisation have shared their experience of work on the learning modules, as well as exchanged best practises of interaction with youth in non-formal education way.
From the side of CGE Erfurt e.V., Dennis Ingelmann was representing the organisation. Dennis, together with his colleague, Georg Müller, will lead the Spring School on Digital Competences in April-May 2019.

On October 26th, 2017 a kick-off meeting of the project DC4JOBS – Digital Competences for New Jobs took place in Nicosia. The consortium of six partners from Germany from Germany 🇩🇪 (CGE Erfurt e.V. & Bürgerhaus Bennohaus), the Netherlands 🇳🇱 (Breakthrough), Cyprus 🇨🇾 (Emphasys Centre), Romania 🇷🇴 (EuroEd Academic), Latvia 🇱🇻 (municipality of Ogre, Latvia) and Spain 🇪🇸 (Clictic S.L.), came together for the first time to plan wide range of activities and outputs for the next stage of the project, including the first Intellectual Output IO1 – benchmark survey on digital skills-gap between young people and the labour market.
