Right before the Easter holiday the international group of 30 youth workers from all-over the Europe came to CGE office for a study visit in the frame of project “Volu.M.E”. The visit had an aim to present the experience of local German NGO in dealing with volunteering work, to exchange best practices and go deeper into the topic of volunteering on European scale. The 24th of February was marked red in our calendars: that weekend day was picked for a one-day-trip to the Winterwelt Schmiedefeld, a regional winter sport resort. So, on that cold Saturday morning our small group of ten, consisting of CGE staff members, students from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy and European volunteers from Erfurt based EVS host organisations (Alice from the Naturfreundejugend Thüringen, Antoine from the Thuringian state chan
