In the context of “growth of urban activism in small Russian cities through P2P learning” the “Stadt im Dialog 3” project just had its second activity carried out: a visit to some of Germany’s best examples on community-based initiatives tackling urban improvement. Thus, the project consortium of the Europe for Citizens – Remembrance project “Staring at Goats – Propaganda, Scapegoating and the Other 1918-2018” met last week in historic Weimar to share their visions and ideas how to best plan, frame and implement the project’s 13 events and campaign in the five partner countries. Youth Encyclopedia of (Anti)discrimination is the final outcome of the same-titled project which brought together young people from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo and Germany around the topic of discrimination, with a particular focus on discrimination of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans and intersex people.
The Encyclopedia treasures a unique collection of personal stories, informative and educational pieces. It also revisits the struggles of significant activists and movements for freedom equality and dignity. We hope it will be as inspirational for you as it has been for us. Enjoy the read!
